Angela McGaw

Angela-McGawAnge is The Career Academy's resident Francophile. She attends Auckland's Alliance Française French Film Festival every year, and her favourite movie of all time is Amélie (for its quirkiness and humour.) She loves to travel and, yes, France is one of her best-loved destinations, along with Italy and Spain.

Her career history has strong roots in the administration sector, having worked as a receptionist, PA and administrator at a major Auckland Hospital. She also has solid tutoring experience with both a private company and Unitec Institute of Technology.

Ange enjoys the variety of her role at The Career Academy and being part of a growing, fast-paced business, but says that the best part of her job is reading the wonderful feedback from happy students. She always encourages her students to go the extra mile. "Study the course material in depth, even do additional research for yourself. The more effort you put in, the more you will benefit."
