My background is in tax accounting and I feel that only the surface was touched within this very complex field of accounting. Especially GST was by far too easy and there would be no way I could do a GST return with only that knowledge. I feel that one would need some form of practical experience to be able to work confidently within this area. Personally I enjoyed the course as it was a refresher course but if I was new within this field, by no way would I be able to start my own bookkeeping business which was the reason I signed up. the certificate is recognised in Australia and my aim is to open my own bookkeeping business. The tutors are very professional, helpful, speedy. Thank you!
