This course is designed for people with no or limited medical training, who would like to work in a medical environment. You’ll develop the skills needed to communicate clearly and effectively using medical terminology. Certified Medical Receptionists perform a wide variety of tasks, from booking or checking in patients to taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations. With exposure to all the different elements of patient care, certified medical receptionists can take their careers in virtually any direction.

Her career history has strong roots in the medical sector, having worked as a medical receptionist, PA to a private surgeon and administrator at a major Hospital. She also has solid tutoring experience with both a private company and at Carrington Technical Institute.
