It was very frustrating when I had an allotted time to study and I got stuck. waiting for a response for my questions was frustrating as I could only study in the allotted time I had for myself. It was my first foray into online study or indeed any study for some thirty odd years and noticed that there are quite a few different courses; if I am honest it was more a case of a pin and a blindfold. But having said that I have felt very comfortable with the experience and the encouragement I received from the different Tutors with their explanations and feedback helped me feel that I was actually understanding and learning, I felt there was connection and that had I needed it, I could have contacted them for a more in depth discussion. It was cheaper It offered a basic certificate course in accounting which I was after It was all online and therefore convenient Assignments were manageable and suited my current workload/ level of commitment Spelling and grammar of all info on this website and assignments need checking and correcting as I often found errors and this is recommended if you want to improve your professional look.Few questions in the assignments were also a little unclear and could have been worded better to make it easier to understand for the first time accounting student. Thank you for the fast turnaround of marking my assignments and overall this course has been a good and useful tool to developing my skills professionally and personally. There is a wide range of courses for use in the accounting field. Also the academy is affiliated to CA ANZ. I think a bit more information/investigating for the various lessons should be requested from the students. E.g. when making charts. They should be requested to use the Sparklines tools/design to add high points, low points etc.
Also, when watching the video for each lesson I found some were moving too fast around the spreadsheet and had to re-watch them several times.
