Three steps!

1. Certificate in Bookkeeping

Take the first step with our Certificate in Bookkeeping which will give you a sound knowledge of the theory and practice of bookkeeping. Gain employment and improve your career prospects by increasing your competence and skills in practical bookkeeping areas.

2. Diploma in Accounting

Step two is completing the Diploma in Accounting. This comprehensive course builds on the practical accounting skills and knowledge obtained through the Certificate in Bookkeeping. It will further enhance your accounting skills, enabling you to pursue a career in accounting, finance or business.

3. AT Assessment of Competence

After you have completed the Certificate in Bookkeeping and the Diploma in Accounting you can then begin the application process to become an Accounting Technician. We review your skill set obtained through approved courses and work experience. Your Diploma in Accounting will give you 9/11 competencies required to meet the criteria for the AT membership with CAANZ which is awarded once the required membership criteria has been met. This can be an ongoing process and CAANZ will help you in achieving your pathway to becoming an Accounting Technician.

★★★★★ “This is by far one of the best extramural courses I’ve ever done – the tutors are so lovely and prompt to answer questions, the material is very easy to understand and, never thought I’d say this, but the assignments are kind of fun!" - Catherine McQuillan

★★★★★ "Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Given it has been a while since I studied some of these subject areas, I quickly built my confidence and zipped through the course. I liked the flexibility of being able to study where and when I wanted and for however long I wanted. Online learning is fun!" - Liz Tucker
