Meet your tutor team
Tony - Tutor Manager
Tony qualified as a chartered accountant in London with KPMG before moving into teaching the CA qualification to PWC, EY, Deloitte and KPMG graduates. Prior to KPMG, he spent an enviable few years teaching sailing on an island from a beach in the Mediterranean.
What he enjoys the most about his role is the problem solving, trying to come up with constant improvements for the students learning environment and he thrives on giving high quality feedback for students. The most satisfactory aspect of his role is watching the tutor team work their socks off and consistently delivering an outstanding level of helpful and supportive feedback to every student that passes through the Career Academy.
Tony grew up in London and spent most of his youth sailing on the South Coast of the UK, he’s looking to start sailing the 12ft skiffs in Auckland harbour. He wants to improve on his surfing and has recently started open water swimming which is pretty apt given his poor surfing ability.

*(She's also not averse to dismantling her own washing machine to find and fix a problem!)

After a few years of this, a new challenge called and she moved into the corporate sector, in pet insurance.
With a keen interest and passion for animal behaviour, psychology and training, she realised she wished to assist others in learning about their pets, specifically their behaviours.
After a move from Sydney to Melbourne, she has found herself in what she deems her "perfect role"- helping to educate people about their pets behaviour, and how to better understand them.
When not training her cat- Doctor Watson, you'll find Melissa watching live music, drawing, stretching, reading, watching dogs at the dog park and enjoying a cider.
